The tour will begin at the exterior of The Carriageworks, taking in its rhythm of tall, dark brick gables interspersed with lighter infill, and the new 300-metre stretch of Sheriff Street streetscape it helps define, book-ended by a hotel at either end. We’ll also view the large public square at the heart of the scheme, animated by a cultural building and the distinctive red-pigmented residential tower.

Moving inside, the tour will explore the building’s interiors, including the duplexes and live-work units that activate the lower levels of the street.

We’ll then take in the scheme’s amenity spaces and communal terraces, designed to support residents’ day-to-day life within this large-scale regeneration project.

The tour will finish with a look through a selection of apartments, showing the layout, finishes, and design thinking behind the individual homes.
