The Gatehouse is a modern home that reflects the character of its surrounding conservation area. The key challenge was achieving the right proportions while giving a minimalist references to late Georgian elements, such as tall, deep-set windows and plaster quoins. The contemporary design extends to the interior, where dark wooden floors are paired with contemporary ornamentation.
