Tour Information +
The Liberties is an area of the city currently undergoing a rapid pace of transformational redevelopment, challenging the existing communities and urban fabric. We will begin at St. Patrick’s Park, examining Liberties history and how the Iveagh Trust transformed the area in the early twentieth century. On our way to Francis Street, we will pass the nineteenth-century DADCo artisan cottages of John Dillon Street. After discussing the more architecture around the Coombe, we will continue into its surviving architectural and industrial heritage.
