Walking tour of Tolka Estuary Greenway at Dublin Port
Dublin Port Greenway Trailhead, North Wall, Dublin
The Dublin Port Tolka-Estuary Greenway is a dedicated 3.2km shared cycle and pedestrian route along the northern perimeter of the Port. This newly developed greenway celebrates an area of the Port that has never been publicly accessible, which has delivered dramatic views of the Dublin City, Bay and Port activity from lands that were previously inaccessible and underused – lands now fully accessible to all.
This tour will be led by led by Darmody Architecture & TTT(thirtythreetrees), and will describe describe how the Greenway choreographs a series of three distinct character spaces, Three Forts on the Edge of Dublin City, with a layer of interpretation celebrating the Port’s industrial heritage and history through contemporary design.
Meeting Point: Tour will begin at the Greenway ‘Entry’ Point, which is located at the north end of Bond Road at the eastern edge of EastPoint Business Campus, overlooking the Tolka Estuary.
