Our public libraries across the city showcase a diverse range of architectural styles, both old and new. At Pearse Street Library you can scan the QR code to listen to audio recordings from Dublin City Council Historians in Residence discussing the architectural history of the Library Building.
This is a drop-in activity which you can do at any time over Open House weekend. Simply visit Pearse Street library where library staff will be on hand to assist you with accessing the audio recordings.
Accessibility Information
The venue is wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets and sensory facilities available. Assistance dogs are welcome, and accessibility supports include Easy Read information, audio guides and descriptions, captions/speech-to-text, Braille and large-print signage, and tactile materials. Prams and buggies are also permitted.
