Join DCC and Áit Urbanism & Landscape for a guided tour of Weaver Park and the Weaver Place and Poplin Place residential development, located in the heart of the Liberties.

The tour will begin in the award-winning Weaver Park, which has transformed a previously underused urban site into a vibrant and welcoming amenity for the local community. From the park, we will then look at Weaver Place and Poplin Place, exploring how the residential buildings respond to their historic urban setting and connect with the new public space. The development is one of the Council’s first multi-storey residential projects to use Modern Methods of Construction, incorporating innovative construction processes and off-site manufacturing.

Together, these projects demonstrate how high-quality public space, landscape and housing can work together to support the regeneration of an important part of Dublin’s inner city. The tour will offer an opportunity to discover the thinking, design and construction approaches behind these projects, and to hear from the teams involved in their delivery.
