Tour Information +
Campus and Stephen Foley Architects have collaborated on the making of The Lark Theatre, Irish Institute of Music and Song in Balbriggan, Dublin. The Lark is this year’s winner of the RIAI Public Choice Award voted the public’s favourite building.
The newly built Lark Theatre forms part of the Irish Institute of Music and Song campus and is located next to a three-storey protected Georgian House that provides accommodation for visiting artists and scholars. The concert hall was originally designed for chamber music which gives shape and volume to the space but also allows for a multitude of performance types including cinema, pantomime, and comedy.
Access will take in the lobby, Auditorium, Sound room, Lark 1, Lark 2 , and the balcony area, into Bedford house lobby, then the Square, The Pods, the Green Rooms, the Amphitheatre, the music studios, and the garden, & finally the Crann Ceol where tour ends.
