This four-storey office building and headquarters of Met Eireann was designed and completed in 1979 by celebrated Irish Architect Liam McCormick, most renowned for his church architecture. Its truncated-pyramid shape is notable, it allows staff to get better views of the sky and limits overshadowing of the houses behind.

Tour will start on the grounds of the building and proceed to a number of  internal rooms. Please note that areas of the building will remain operational during the tours, public access to these areas will be restricted.

Tours by Cormac Murray: architect and author of Cosmoform, a publication about the Met Eireann building.
