Tour Information +
Join Cormac Murray on a guided tour of Met Eireann for Open House Dublin.
The Irish Meteorological Centre in Glasnevin is the headquarters of the Irish Meteorological Service. It was designed and completed in 1979 by celebrated Irish Architect Liam McCormick, most renowned for his church architecture. Its truncated-pyramid shape is notable, it allows staff to get better views of the sky and limits overshadowing of the houses behind.
Cormac Murray, architect and author of Cosmoform (a publication about the Met Eireann building) will be hosting a tour of the building. The tour will include building exteriors and interiors.
This tour is pre-book only.
