Tour Information +
The Dublin Waste to Energy facility at Poolbeg is one of the city’s most distinctive examples of contemporary industrial architecture, transforming Dublin’s non-recyclable waste into energy while playing a key role in the city’s waste management infrastructure.
This 30-minute tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the facility operates. Begin with a short film introducing the plant and its processes, followed by interactive models that bring the technology to life. Staff will be on hand throughout to answer questions before visitors are taken on a guided tour of the control room, where the operation of the facility can be seen at first hand.
An opportunity to explore the architecture, technology and inner workings of one of Dublin’s most unusual and important pieces of infrastructure.
Tours are Pre-Book Only and visitors must be 18+ to attend.
