Join a tour of the new public park in the liberties led by DCC Executive Landscape Architect and Parks Officer Deirdre Prince.
Innovation is central to the design of this park in order to create a more sustainable and ecological project build. One of the main distinctive design features of this park is the re-use of secondary raw materials in the construction of the park, such as existing calp and concrete, reclaimed stone and brick, both as large paving elements and as aggregate.
A key feature of this park is a new community garden group which is built on the strength and success of the community garden group.
