Ballyogan Square is a social housing development of sixty-seven high-quality passive A1-rated dwellings constructed on residual lands left over from the construction of the M50 motorway. The development was procured using a design and build, public works contract to a rapid delivery programme using Modern Methods of Construction.
Principally, the scheme explores how to maximise a residual backland site to provide a diverse range of valuable residential options. The development also creates a new public walkway through established residential backlands to provide a direct pedestrian and cycle route with a high level of public lighting to the Ballyogan Wood Luas stop.
