Tour Information +
The North Stand, which provides 2,500 new seats, is a major enhancement to Tallaght Stadium by South Dublin County Council. This addition increases the stadium’s attendance capacity to over 10,000 elevating it to UEFA standards, while the original West Stand has been upgraded with media and hospitality facilities.
This project enhances the matchday experience with better seating and sightlines, benefiting Shamrock Rovers, national teams, and other sporting events.
South Dublin County Council’s concept was for the new north stand to complete the enclosure of the stadium on all four sides and act as the face of Tallaght Stadium to engage with Tallaght and the N81. A feature of the North Stand is the community facing commercial units provided at the ground level of the stand, and one of these units is now home to Shamrock Rovers’ official club shop and offices. This development strengthens the stadium’s role in the community while supporting its long-term sustainability. The tour will begin outside the stadium in front of the new North Stand. From there it will move into the stand and stadium and onto the upgraded hospitality areas of the West stand.
