Step inside the Europa Experience and discover how decisions made across Europe affect our daily lives. Located in Europe House on Chatham Street, this free interactive visitor centre offers a unique opportunity to explore the European Union through multimedia exhibits, immersive experiences and hands-on activities.

During this guided tour, visitors will learn how the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Member States work together to shape policies on issues ranging from climate action and consumer rights to travel, education and digital technology. Explore interactive displays, hear stories from people across Europe and gain a better understanding of how European democracy works in practice.

The tour also includes a visit to the immersive 360° cinema, where visitors can experience Europe from a new perspective, and an opportunity to learn about the role of Ireland within the European Union.

As Open House Dublin 2026 explores the theme of Neighbourhood, the Europa Experience invites visitors to consider how local communities are connected to a wider European neighbourhood. From Dublin to Berlin, Cork to Copenhagen, the exhibition highlights the shared challenges, opportunities and values that link people across Europe.

Suitable for adults, young people and families. The exhibition is fully accessible, and visitors are welcome to explore the interactive displays at their own pace following the guided tour.
