Come and explore one of Dublin’s oldest buildings and our medieval crypt. Collect one of our fun trails, specially created for Open House, from the Welcome Desk when you arrive and discover 1000 years of history. Finish your trail in the South Transept where you can discover the art of arch building and try and figure out how to make one yourself!

The main building is wheelchair accessible via a ramp at the main entrance, though there are some internal steps towards the rear of the cathedral. The crypt is wheelchair accessible via our St John’s Lane entrance. Staff can guide you there.
