The Irish National War Memorial Gardens at Islandbridge, Dublin, were designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens from 1869 to 1944, and commemorate the memory of the Irish men and women who died in the First World War. Bookrooms contain the War books listing over 49,000 who died these are illustrated by Harry Clarke. Other bookrooms contain the Ginchy cross and memorabilia from the war.On Saturday 15th October there will be specific tours given by RIAI President, Carole Pollard, as part of the More than Concrete Blocks Series.

First-come basis: Just turn up and look out for Open House Dublin volunteers.
