Tour Information +
This tour will be led by Darmody Architecture and TTT (ThirtyThreeTrees) to
describe how the Greenway choreographs a series of three distinct character spaces, Three Forts on the Edge of Dublin City, with a layer of interpretation celebrating the Port’s industrial heritage and history through contemporary design.
The tour will outline the design principles of the project, delivery within a live Port environment, and future planned projects by Dublin Port Company. Opened in September 2024, Tolka Estuary Greenway at Dublin Port is a 2.2km long public realm shared surface route that has delivered dramatic views of the Dublin City, Bay and Port activity from lands that were previously inaccessible and underused – lands now fully accessible to all.
Tour will begin at the Greenway ‘Entry’ Point, which is located at the north end of Bond Road at the eastern edge of EastPoint Business Campus, overlooking the Tolka Estuary. Google maps link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DbwQfGRdWj8FMV34A
