DIAS Dunsink Observatory (dunsink.dias.ie) has been a centre for astronomical research and public engagement in Ireland since its foundation in 1785. We will open the doors to the public to explore the rooms of the main Observatory House as well as the 19th Century South Dome. Researchers from our Astronomy and Astrophysics Section will tell visitors about the history of the Observatory, as well as its modern day research activities and visitors will learn about the architecture of the building.

Accessibility Information
Assistance dogs welcome. The building is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
