Tour Information +
Step back into Medieval Ireland in the land of Saints and Scholars. We will discover together how Medieval monasteries were the catalyst for the creation of towns and villages, and helped build a sense of community within their built environment.
The workshop includes a hands-on art class where we will learn together how to decorate our own illuminated letters with Celtic designs. Suitable for all ages and families, carers welcome.
Francesca Cadeddu is an archaeologist and is also a specialist within the Heritage in School programme: in the last 3 years she has delivered more than 200 workshops all around Ireland bringing Irish history and archaeology back to life for primary and post-primary school kids.
Please contact Baldoyle Library at [email protected] or 01 8906793.
