Tour Information +
Home to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, 23 Kildare Street is one of the State’s significant heritage buildings, managed by the OPW (Office of Public Works). The Open House Tour begins at reception where groups will be guided to the first floor noting the unique architectural features before moving on through the Secretary General and Minister’s Offices followed by the boardroom. The back stairs flooring is a distinctive terrazzo style which is a top quality finish for the back stairs area leading down to the basement. On leaving the building, visitors can cross the road to get a full view of the building complete with sculptural reliefs and the 5-story steel window.
