Tour Information +
This drawing session invites the participants to respond with mark making to the sensory presences within the space of the vacant Church of Ireland building located within the TU Dublin Grangegorman campus.
We will consider non-ocular aspects of built environments as well as their particular characteristics, like surfaces, acoustics, history, and other sensory impact.
This session places focus on perceiving architecture beyond the sense of vision and non-verbal descriptions of sensorial experiences.
Please bring a sketchbook and drawing materials of your choice. The building has no heating, please dress appropriately.
This event was selected through the Open Call (Open to All) as part of this year’s Open House Dublin programme.
