118 St Stephen’s Green is RCSI’s new ‘front door’ to the city, providing a significant and flexible public and civic engagement space for events and exhibitions. The building was designed with RCSI’s mission in mind: “To educate, nurture and discover for the benefit of human health”.
During Open House, visitors will be welcomed by members of the RCSI community who will guide you through the new building designed by leading architecture firm Henry J. Lyons.
The ground-floor entrance features Humanarium, a café and free public exhibition space.
Visitors will have the opportunity to tour RCSI’S state-of-the-art facilities, before concluding their visit with Humanarium’s latest exhibition.

There are wheelchair-accessible entrances to the building, including an accessible turnstile.
Both lifts and stairs provide access to all floors, and accessible toilets are located on each floor.
The building also includes a designated quiet space, a first aid/breastfeeding room, and a changing places toilet facility.
