Tour Information +
This landmark Dublin City Council project, designed by architects Urban Agency, combines functionality, sustainability, and public engagement. The tour meets at the central plaza between the Docklands Office and Municipal Water Sports Centre, beginning with the enhanced 4.2m-wide boardwalk, landscaping, seating, and lighting. This riverside experience is designed to be open, inclusive, and alive with activity.
The tour continues through the Docklands Office and Water Sports Centre, offering striking internal views, before concluding at the newly extended pontoons, improving access for Dublin Fire Brigade, Under Water Rescue Services, water activities, and Jeanie Johnston Tours. Visitors will also see two remarkable glulam structures made of European Larch, celebrated for their strength, sustainability, and elegant design.
The building is located directly beside the Jeanie Johnston Tall Ship and Famine Museum. Meet your tour guide at the central plaza area between the Docklands Office and the Water Sports Centre. Look out for Open House Dublin Volunteers.
