Tour Information +
This immersive walking tour begins at the substation, where Bridges of Dublin, an exhibition by artist Fergal McCarthy, is currently on display. From there, explore Dublin Port’s vibrant history, discovering hidden gems such as the restored substation and the original East Wall. The tour traces the evolution of the city, its communities, and industries, providing insight into Dublin’s industrial heritage.
The second part of the tour leads to the Pumphouse, a former graving dock area now transformed into an arts space. Currently, Temple Bar Galleries presents two solo exhibitions: dream sequence by Yuri Pattison and Beep Beep by Liliane Puthod, as part of their “Longest Way Round, Shortest Way Home” series.
Dublin Port Company provides disposable headphone audio systems. Participants can also bring their own with a jack plug, though wireless headphones are not compatible.
