Join us for a fun and creative architecture workshop for families! Explore the potential of Tallaght – how can we create a better and more playful community with inclusive and welcoming spaces for all?
In this family workshop you’ll have the opportunity to:
– Engage in family learning – parents / guardians and children can enjoy creative time together!
– Explore ideas about the places we share in our community and think about how we can make them better
— Create new vibrant communities through drawing and 3D map-making.
Hosted by South Dublin County Council in collaboration with the Irish Architecture Foundation, and facilitated by architect Evelyn D’Arcy, this is an interactive workshop for families to explore their ideas for their local area with particular focus on the “leftover” outdoor spaces in Tallaght.
Age group: Ideal for families with children aged 6-12. Parents / guardians must attend the workshop with their children.
