The Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin during their term of office. The house was purchased for use as a Mayoralty House by Dublin Corporation from Joshua Dawson in 1715 and is the earliest continuously occupied townhouse in Dublin. It is a unique building because of its great age, its particular architectural style , and for the continuous role the house has played in the civic history of Dublin.

Attend a guided tour of the Lord Mayor’s official residence – see the Oak Room, Drawing Room, Dining Room, and Lady Mayoress Parlour. Tours are given by former Lord Mayors and Dublin City Council staff.

The tour will follow a one-way path through the building.
