An exhibition of artworks created by local schoolchildren who Reimagine what the Iveagh Markets of the future could be. As is widely acknowledged, the Iveagh Markets are suffering from years of neglect and badly need conservation. The artworks were created on the Steps of the Iveagh Markets on Francis Street after a talk and walk by Friends of the Iveagh Markets. 4 local schools participated, ages between 8 and 12.
These artworks will be on display in the Tivoli Event Space (Staycity) on Francis Street.
Visiting children will be given the opportunity to Reimagine the Iveagh Markets themselves through drawing, facilitated by NCAD artist Lana Murray and there is face painting from 12pm each day
