Join children’s author and illustrator Margaret Anne Suggs in the beautiful seaside Baldoyle Library for her creative workshop, Home is Where the Heart is.

Children will create a paper birdhouse based on their ideas of ‘home.’ The word ‘home’ conjures thoughts of comfort and familiarity, and ‘home’ can extend to include a village and a community. The birdhouse relates to ideas of migration, duality of belonging, and the sometimes ephemeral nature of a home.
