Step inside the heart of Lusk’s evolving cultural landscape with a guided tour of the Lusk Community Cultural Centre. Once the cherished home and shop of local entrepreneur Katie Hunt, this historic cottage has been sensitively restored and reimagined as a modern space for the community.

During this tour, you’ll learn about the remarkable transformation from dereliction to a vibrant civic hub and the story of how the original fabric of the cottage was preserved and integrated into a bold contemporary design — honouring the memory of Katie Hunt while meeting the needs of a growing community.

The tour also offers a first look at what’s to come. Recently granted planning permission, Phase Two of the Cultural Centre will include a dedicated theatre space and a range of much-needed community facilities. Visitors will hear about the vision behind this next stage and how it aims to further enrich the cultural life of Lusk.
