International Centre for the Image
Mayor Street Upper, North Wall, Dublin 1, D01 E5Y8
PhotoIreland welcomes everyone to join a tour of the International Centre for the Image.
Launched last July, the centre is located in Coopers Cross, a new development in Dublin’s north docklands, near the River Liffey. Access to the centre is through a stepped pedestrian street between the two distinctive office buildings in the quarter. The tour will begin at the centre’s entrance, a striking glass structure in the plaza.
Visitors will discover the public and private areas of the centre, including the board-marked concrete gallery, the artist studios, library, and other facilities. Finally, the tour will bring visitors into the Town Hall in Building 2, a unique and rather ample multi-purpose space, and a key characteristic of the building’s inside-outside philosophy.
Meeting Point: At the International Centre for the Image reception. D01 E5Y8
Pre- Book Only.
