Tour Information +
In this playful workshop, artist Asbestos, dressed as the mythical spirit Scala, will challenge children to envision a future city. Scala’s costume is a metaphor for the delicate balance of our collective spaces. The lower half represents the underlying tensions and conflicting ideas within a city, while the upper half, a wide-brimmed headpiece, serves as a blank canvas. Children will be tasked with placing and balancing cardboard buildings on this headpiece, working collaboratively to build a stable and harmonious city that blends old and new, public and private, work and play.
Facilitator: Asbestos
Location: IAF House at Charlemont Square, Dublin
Note: Parents / guardians must attend with their child(ren). Please book a space for each person attending. All materials provided. This performance and workshop is suitable for children ages 8-14 years old.
