Join in a walk back in time to the town’s administrative origins as an infant maritime city of the steam age, exploring how various local authorities governed during British colonial rule, the transition to Irish independence, and the rapid expansion of the modern suburban county we know and love today. The tour of County Hall will include the historic parts of the original building as well as more modern additions of office space in 1990 and the new Council Chamber in 2017.
