Tour Information +
Covering a total of 255 buildings, The Dublin Architecture Guide 1937–2021 is a companion guide to the modern architecture of Dublin, published by Lilliput Press and available to order online or from your local bookshop.
The guided cycling tour will take place in south Dublin City, visiting the outside of a range of modern buildings. Starting at Merrion Square South, some of the buildings to be visited include the new ESB Headquarters, the former Bank of Ireland HQ (Miesian Plaza), The US Embassy, the former Carroll’s headquarters (Two Grand Parade), The Department of Finance, and Stephen Court.
The tour is intended to be interactive, with participants encouraged to share memories, opinions and reflections on buildings, as we endeavour to better understand the architecture around us.
City-centre cycling experience will be necessary for the tour.
Meeting Point: Merrion Square South, at Dublin Bikes Stand.
