Join RMA Architects and Andrew Lyons on a guided tour of College Crescent for Open House Dublin.
This project involved remodelling the existing house by replacing an aging conservatory with a new living area on the same footprint and opening up the living spaces. The intention was to keep the spirit of the existing family house with its warmth and mature planting; at the heart of the new house is an indoor garden which screens the various living spaces. A sunken living area is mirrored outside with a sunken patio. The brief was to also improve energy performance and an A2 rating was achieved.
