Tour Information +
Dive into the fascinating history of the Alliance Française listed building, constructed during the Victorian era. Designed by the renowned firm Deane & Woodward, it originally housed the Kildare Street Club and was once praised as having one of the finest interiors of 19th-century Dublin.
To celebrate Open House Junior, the Alliance Française is organising fun, self-guided discovery trails for accompanied children aged 7 and up. Young explorers will hunt for hidden details in the building’s rich architectural heritage and uncover the carved animals and plants and that embellish both its interior and exterior.
Also available all day between 10am and 4pm: Arts & Craft & workshops in The French Library (1st floor), exhibitions (throughout the building).
Starting point of the Tour is in the brand-new café Café Madeleine (ground floor)
Pre-Book Only
Accessibility Information
