Tour Information +
Take a tour of a house in the tenters that was built between 1922 and 1924 and renovated in 2018. The end of terrace three bed has been radically reimagined by reversing the direction of the staircase and arranging all the ground floor spaces around a new courtyard to the rear that includes a new living space to the side and a bike store to the rear. The design of the extension compliments in form and material the original character of the tenter houses. The three new street side windows and the new roof form are carefully designed to maximise daylight to both the courtyard and the inside spaces
The tour will be given by the houses architect John Barry Lowe.
Meeting point: At the house, 17 Clarence Mangan
