The true cost of vacancy and dereliction is a talk hosted by Nick Taaffe, Chairperson of the SCSI Vacancy and Dereliction committee. The talk discusses the costs and challenges in turning vacant and derelict buildings into homes.
Through his own journey in converting a vacant building into a home and now several years experience working on research for the SCSI, the talk explores the true costs of vacancy through both an economic and social lens.
