Join Alvean Jones for an Irish Sign Language tour at the Mansion House. The Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin during their term of office. The house was purchased for use as a Mayoralty House by Dublin Corporation from Joshua Dawson in 1715 and is the earliest continuously occupied townhouse in Dublin. It is a unique building because of its great age, its particular architectural style , and for the continuous role the house has played in the civic history of Dublin.

Accessibility Information

This tour will be conducted entirely in Irish Sign Language (ISL), with no spoken translation.

A platform lift is available for access to the building. From there the tours takes place on the ground floor only.

The tour will follow a one-way path through the building.
