Join us at the cinema in the Europa Experience for a special family screening of the award-winning French animated film Bonjour le Monde! (Hello World!), as part of Open House Dublin 2026.

Using beautiful stop-motion animation made from papier-mâché, the film introduces young audiences to the animals and habitats that make up our natural world. From frogs and ladybirds to bats and butterflies, children will discover how every creature belongs to a neighbourhood and how nature thrives through connection and cooperation.

Before or after the screening, families will have the opportunity to explore the Europa Experience, an interactive visitor centre in the heart of Dublin that brings Europe to life through multimedia exhibits and hands-on activities.

This event is designed for children aged 5–9 years and their families. The film’s gentle pace, colourful animation and focus on wildlife make it particularly suitable for younger children, while encouraging curiosity about nature, community and the world around us. The screening will provide a welcoming and relaxed environment for young viewers and their accompanying adults.

This event is organised with the support of the Institut Français with Presented in association with the French Embassy in Ireland, with support from Institut Français. Screening is in French with English subtitles.

Suitable for children aged 5–9 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.

Meeting Point: Guides will be waiting at the reception area to direct attendees to the cinema on the lower ground floor. Reception, 11 Chatham Street, Dublin 2, D02 VP46
