Tour Information +
Over the past decade, The Liberties of Dublin have changed dramatically. This walking tour looks at the evolution of the neighbourhood over the last 10 years including the development of new public realm, parks and amenities to create space for people; discusses recent high density development and how it is changing our streetscapes and our sense of the city; and explores the efforts made to preserve and reuse heritage buildings, and adapt to the realities of 21stC commerce in a traditional market area.
The tour begins in St Audoen’s Park and passes through Francis Street, Meath Street, Newmarket and ends in Weaver Park on Cork Street. Approx. 2 hours.
Meet in St Audoen’s Park in front of the church tower.
