Join the National Gallery for a tour inviting you to look beyond the Gallery’s collection to the walls, rooms, and routes that make up the 160-plus years of the architecture of the Gallery.

Discover the Milltown Wing, designed by Sir Thomas Newenham Deane and completed in 1903, was funded by Countess Milltown’s bequest. The Milltown Wing was restored by Heneghan Peng Architects in 2017. Its classical exterior and intricately carved interior doorways by Italian craftsman Carlo Cambi enhance the gallery’s architectural heritage.

This tour is part of the three tour series for Open House Dublin that covers individual key wings of the Gallery, the Dargan, Milltown and Millennium Wings.
