DLR Architects lead a guided tour of the redeveloped Dún Laoghaire Baths project, winner of the prestigious AR public awards 2024. The improvements entailed in the project have aimed to create new life and provide enhanced public facilities which complement and link the area adjoining People’s Park, the Metals and the DLR LexIcon Environs. The project has incorporated works to the Pavilion to accommodate studio space for artists, as well as a café area complete with outdoor terrace.

The construction of a new sea wall and jetty has created a new viewing point with stunning vistas across Scotman’s Bay to Sandycove Harbour, as well as a long sitting bench and access to the water for sea swimming. The new Casement Memorial Sculpture by Mark Richards dramatically sited on a plinth at the end of the jetty.
