The Education Team at Dublin Castle is delighted to offer an Autism Friendly Tour for Open House Dublin. Join Tour Guides Daragh and Daisy on a tour that explores the rich, layered history and architecture of Dublin Castle.
This tour is designed to meet the requirements of those with sensory needs. This is a unique opportunity to learn and explore the history of Dublin Castle in a quiet and considered manner.
This building is owned by the State through the Office of Public Works (OPW).
The meeting point for this tour is at the Education Room (off the Entrance Hall of the State Apartments). From Dame Street, enter Dublin Castle through the main gate, walk straight along Upper Castle Yard, and the front entrance to the State Apartments is in the central castle building ahead. You will be able to book this tour by email from 24 September.

This is an Autism Friendly tour. The tour is wheelchair accessible but there are cobblestones in the courtyard on the way to the location. Please contact Dublin Castle Education Team for further accessibility information at dublincastleeducation@opw.ie
