Tour Information +
The Casino is a remarkable building, both in terms of structure and history. Sir William Chambers designed it in the late eighteenth-century to serve as a habitable garden temple for James Caulfeild, the 1st Earl of Charlemont, adjacent to his Marino House, in what was then the countryside. It is widely acknowledged as the most important example of neoclassical architecture in Ireland. Join our guides for a tour of the Casino, where you’ll discover the stunning architecture of this hidden treasure.
