This year as part of the Open House Europe project we invite you to share your experiences of the festival, architecture, place and neighbourhood through the lens of our annual theme Access and Inclusion. What makes you feel included or welcome in a space? How does Dublin city or county reflect who you are and what you need? Visit Open House Dublin and show us in whatever way is best suited to you, photography, film, drawing or any media or method you like. The competition is open to all ages but please ensure that if you are under 18 you include a letter of consent from a parent or guardian.

A selection of entries will be chosen by a panel from Open House Europe to be part of an exhibition which will open at the Open House Annual Summit in Dublin in January 2025. Three entries will be selected across Europe to win an expenses paid trip to the summit in Dublin in 2025 or to any Open House Festival taking place in an Open House Europe partner city in 2025.

The Irish Architecture Foundation and Open House Dublin are proud to be part of Open House Europe, a collaborative project between 11 European cultural organisations with a shared vision of promoting architecture as a positive force for change.
This cooperation project unfolds a multi-layered view of quality architecture across Europe and unites people of all professions, interests and visions – from volunteers and curious enthusiasts to young and experienced professionals and organisations.
Together we aim to connect through our built environment, and facilitate a common ground between the creators of architecture and its users. Open House Europe encourages and promotes an interest in architecture among various audiences, helps them gain new perspectives on their local surroundings, and invites them to envision the future of architecture in Europe.
The project is coordinated by Architektūros fondas and co-funded by the European Union.
