A cycling tour along the banks of the river Liffey via the Irish War Memorial Gardens to the historic village of Chapelizod. The tour will start at the Trinity Boat Club and visit the Memorial Gardens to hear about its history and the Architect Edwin Lutyens. The tour will continue along the river to Chapelizod where some time will be spent looking at the many and varied architectural landmarks of this beautiful village concentrating on its ambience , character and historical context. Bryan O’ Rourke retired Architect will lead the tour and give a personal overview on the many delights of this unique place.
