Inchicore Road lies on the ridge between the Liffey and Camac rivers and was the historic route linking Dublin City with the south and west of the country.
Architect, urban designer and local resident Angela Rolfe will talk about the strategic importance of the Inchicore Road, Kilmainham and its landmark buildings and places including the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham Courthouse and Gaol, Kilmainham and Hibernian mills, St Judes and Kilmainham Congregational churches and the Irish National War Memorial Gardens that together form a remarkable repository of social and cultural history.

The Walk + Talk takes place on the public footpath, which is generally reasonably accessible for wheelchair users. However, there are no resting places for people with limited mobility.
