Bohemian Football Club has a rich and storied history. Owned by the club’s fans since 1890, for 133 years Bohs have brought people together, inspiring a sense of belonging and active citizenship among members, fans, players, and the wider communities of Dublin 7.

Today, we face a new challenge that requires a similar spirit of collective action. The climate crisis threatens to upend our world as we know it, and to survive need to rediscover the strength and resources of the community.

Launched in Spring, 2023, the Bohemian Way is a new cultural experience that combines the rich history of Bohemian Football Club with a call to action on the climate crisis. At its heart, the Bohemian Way is a celebration of the power of community. Based around a free interactive tour app, the Bohemian Way introduces you to new works of music, poetry and art, that comb through stories of the past to inspire a sense of shared purpose, reminding everyone of the incredible progress we can make when we come together.

This event will comprise a historical walking tour around Dublin 7, guided by Bohs club historian Gerry Farrell and will bring you to some of the 40 sites of significance that can be discovered on the app. Join the Bohemian Way to learn about the history of Dublin 7, Bohemian Football Club, and the strength of a united community.

Meeting point: Look out for volunteers at Dalymount Park.
