Transforming vacant properties into residential homes is fast becoming a talking point in our housing policy. As the government moves to offer grants to transform vacant properties, come along to the meet the people who have already embarked on such transformative projects.
This tour encompasses four shop conversions, all different and all with their own stories. One of the four shop conversions is still in progress and visitors will get to see first hand the reality of transforming these properties into functional homes.
The tour begins with a talk by a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland who will explain the process of converting these properties into homes.
