Capital Dock: 2018

Located on the peninsula that separates Grand Canal Dock from the River Liffey, the layout of this strategic urban quarter has been carefully considered to create a development of distinction, with a variety of high quality public spaces and exemplary building designs. The buildings are designed as strong, simple forms, taking reference from the traditional industrial architecture of the docklands. Their simple geometry and robust materiality are concerned with permanence and timelessness.

‘Clancy Quay’ House: 2016

‘Clancy Quay’ House is an exemplary residential development, winning the RIAI Housing Award in 2018.  The project is located within a former barracks complex, and comprises 2 apartment buildings and contemporary terraced housing, along with the conservation and refurbishment of nine existing protected structures, formerly barracks buildings, to residential use.

Gasworks: 2005

The Gasworks is a brownfield regeneration project in the docklands area of Dublin, which includes the conservation and reuse of the former “Alliance” gas holder building, a protected structure. A glazed structure with a central open atrium has been encased inside the protected gas holder frame and accommodates 210 apartments on nine levels. The finished building is a striking visual landmark in the dockland area.
