Tour Information +
“Ethically, an open city would of course tolerate differences and promote equality but would more specifically free people from the straitjacket of the fixed and the familiar, creating a terrain in which they could experiment and expand their experience” – Richard Sennett, Building and Dwelling
Taking this statement by Richard Sennett as a point of departure, the Irish Architecture Foundation invites you to a series of public conversations and speculations on Dublin as an ‘open city’.
Join us at the third in the series to talk about Climate Action in the city with Séan McCabe.
Séan McCabe is Head of Climate Justice Office and Sustainability at Bohemians Football Club, Phibsborough, the first person in the world to host such an office. Previously Séan worked with TASC and as a Policy Officer with the Mary Robinson Foundation.
Places are limited and must be booked in advance. There are five conversations in the Open Table series and each must be booked separately. Lunch will be provided.
Accessibility Information
The venue is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets. However please note that the location is in Temple Bar which contains cobblestone streets. If you have any access needs please contact bookings@architecturefoundation.ie for assistance.
